Our Scottish Inca Hat has been tried, tested and much appreciated by climbers, sailors and mothers of small children for more than 30 years, especially the warm earflaps and the ties which hold the hat on in windy conditions.
The black and white photos are from
Knitting with Handspun
by Lynn Ross from Ross-Gill Publishers, 1984
Based on the Peruvian Inca hat, this latest adaptation is worked in Aran weight wool with some Rowan Country 503 (available from Yarn in Galway)
Child’s Inca Hat - £2.99
Chris & Jamie in the original Scottish Inca Hats, 1984
